Think Slim

Now we have all heard the phrase think yourself thin, well it can work, but not in the way some might imagine. If you eat 5000 calories per day and you do not do any exercise then just thinking you are going to be thin will not work. Our thoughts are very powerful things, in fact they are probably the most powerful thing that there is or ever will be. So we can think slim with success, done in the right way.

So our thoughts do have an impact on our whole life, it is the truth that they are our whole life. You would have also heard the saying, you are what you think, well this is true. What you are and what you have in your life is all real because it first came from your thoughts. You have become what you think, there is no getting away from that.

This means that it stands to reason that if you change the way you think, then you can change anything in your life and that includes your weight. If you are overweight and desperately want to lose weight, then you need to start thinking about losing weight. Fad diets will never work, 1] because they do not have a sound base for ever losing weight long term, you may lose some weight with the fads, but as soon as you stop the diet, you put the weight back on and some, 2] you know deep down that fad diets do not work, that deep down is your thoughts. You ultimately think that the fad diet will not work.

Thinking your self thin is a way of being thin, you remind yourself constantly through your thoughts not to eat so much food, to cut down and eventually you can change your eating habits. Your thoughts should also hold regular exercise in them, you will begin to exercise regularly if that is what you think about, you cannot fail to, if you believe your thoughts of regular exercise and less food than you used to eat, then those thoughts will return the body you want to achieve. Having the image of the body you want in your mind, along with the right thoughts will bring that body into your life.

If you only see the image in your mind of the overweight body that stares back at you in the mirror, then that is the body you will keep in your life. Diets will never help you get your dream body alone. The right mind set, is the power to all you want in life, including your body, health and fitness. It is such a simple concept, that it is hard to believe that there are so many overweight people in this world. The trouble is that although the concept is real and simple, it is hard to believe, so most do not believe it can work.

If you are willing to believe and change your mind set through your thoughts, then you can lose all that weight that makes you unhappy and you can make changes to any part of your life through the exact same principle. Believe it or not, the choice is yours to make.
