I don’t want to put anybody down here, I know that losing weight and keeping it off is not an easy thing to achieve. There are a lot of people that have tried so many different methods to lose weight and keep putting it back on again, it is very frustrating. But we all know how to l00se weight.
There are 2 simple rules to losing weight and staying at your desired weight. I believe nearly everybody knows these two rules, in case you don’t, then you need to eat the right amount of food and you need to do some regular exercise. They are the 2 simple rules, but how many of you out there that need to and want to loose weight and be honest, actually put in the effort required from these 2 simple rules.
The reason I have brought this up is because I know a few people that are overweight and want to loose weight. They moan that they can’t fit into all there clothes, they don’t like the body they see in the mirror and why can’t they loose weight. The reason is that when they are truthful with themselves they know they are not putting in the effort needed to get the body they want.
The simple truth is that if you are consuming more calories than you are burning on a daily basis, then you will not loose weight. Fad diets do not work, as soon as you stray off them you will gain the weight you might have lost very quickly. On the other hand weight loss programs can work if they teach how to eat and include exercise, but the biggest reason they work is because they motivate.
If you follow a nutritious diet program all the thinking is done for you, your only job is to prepare the food and consume it. If you follow an exercise program, may be a DVD that takes you through a good exercise routine then again all the thinking is done, you just have to commit to doing it.
Forget the scales you don’t need to be obsessed with how much you weigh, all you need to monitor your progress is a tape measure and a mirror. Some effort is needed to get the body you want, only you can make that happen. It is time to get truthful with yourself and start eating the right food and the right amount of food and to start committing to a regular exercise program. Do this and you will get results.
In some future posts I am going to share some weight loss programs that have been successful for many people, mainly because they put the effort in to commit to them. As we are all different I will try to share different kinds that will suit different people
The bottom line is though that some effort is needed.
