What is the one real thing that needs to go alongside a diet, the thing that goes hand in hand with a healthy diet and the one thing most people try to avoid.
Yes, you go it, The dreaded E word Exercise. Love it or hate it exercise should be part of a healthy lifestyle. If you can regularly exercise alongside a healthy diet you are on a winner. Not only will you feel more alive and energized but your body will tone up as you are losing the fat, you will look great. Once you have got down to the size you want you will easily maintain it with the combination of a healthy diet and regular exercise.
This really is the only real true way to have that lean toned body that we all crave. Think about it how many fat athletes do you see, now although you don’t have to take your diet or exercise to their level you get my point. The combination of good healthy food and regular exercise is what is known as a good healthy lifestyle and if you have a healthy lifestyle then your body will adjust to that lifestyle over time.
You may have noticed in this post that I have mentioned getting down to your perfect size rather than down to your perfect weight. The reason for this is in my opinion it is how you look that you should be happy with not your weight. What I mean by this is that if you are very over weight then yes at the beginning it is about shedding those pounds, but as we go along the road it doesn’t come down to weight alone, because if you are toning your body while losing weight it will come to the point where you may stop losing weight or even put a bit back on and this is because muscle weighs more than fat.
So when you get to a certain point and you will, then forget the scales and use your mirror. After all most people diet to be healthy and look good, not to walk around with a sign saying I only weigh this much.
Just before I end this post, don’t be frightened of exercise, you haven’t got to start running a marathon. It will be easier than you think. I will be looking at the types of exercise that can get those pounds tumbling from our frames, without having to train like an athlete.
