A Thin To Far
How thin can you go, well not to thin. You see being overweight can spur anyone into a diet to lose weight and get thin. But losing weight is not only about looking and feeling better, it is also about getting healthier. being overweight can be bad for our health.
So losing weight for Health Reasons is more important than the image factor. But for some people it can turn into an obsession, which in turn can be worse for their health than being overweight. weight control is in my opinion more important than weight loss. We need to get to a good weight for our height and maintain it, not keep losing more and more.
This seems to be a big problem with a lot of celebrities, there are some that seem to yo yo between overweight and desperately underweight. They have the pressure on them from the media and get shot down for having a touch of cellulite, which the paps are all to keen to exploit. It has got to be hard for them as they can’t just leave their homes looking anything than perfect or they are in the papers the next day purposely made to look bad.
This can filter down to the general public as these celebs are icons to many and some try to emulate their look, so if a celeb is getting far to thin like some catwalk models and the likes of Nicole Richie and Victoria Beckham then they are copied and this can get to a dangerous level.
Being underweight can cause some serious health issues, such as malnutrition, Infertility, osteoporosis, Anemia and of course can can lead to Anorexia which over time can cause damage to the heart, liver and Kidneys. There are many more problems that can result of going A Thin To Far.
Balance is the key, we should never starve ourselves to lose weight, this is why Fad Diets are no good for us, a balance of a good nutritious diet and plenty of calorie burning exercise will always be the best way to lose some excess weight and keep us trim and looking good and healthy.
So think on before you deprive yourself of the food you need to live a healthy life, instead eat healthy and get active.
