Get A Great Body

We all want that body fantastic and we all want to look good when we go to the beach, so what is the secret to looking good in our swimwear. Is it really down to what we eat or do we have to slog our butts off at the gym for several hours a day. May be we have to do hours and hours of cardio or just stop eating so much food, why can’t we just have the body we want without working so hard or starving ourselves.

Workout The Easy Way

The truth is that we don’t have to workout for hours at a time on a daily basis and we certainly don’t have to starve ourselves. If we are honest with ourselves we know that Fad Diets do not work and we also know that we probably eat a little to much and are not active enough and we know the result we have got from that lifestyle.

We have got the body we reside in at this moment, so if we do not like what we see in the mirror then we need to do something about it and starving ourselves or breaking our back in the gym is not the right way to go about it. Now my definition of a fantastic body is probably not the same as yours, you may want a nice firm butt and a flat belly, where as may be I want slimmer toned legs and slender arms, we are all different and all have different ideas. This means that what works for me, may not work for you. So we need to find something that is versatile and can adapt to our needs we need to be able to fine tune our body to get it looking how we want it to look in our minds.

So we don’t want to spend endless amounts of money on fad diets that never work long term, we don’t want to stop eating some of our favorite foods, although we could probably cut down a little and we don’t want to spend a huge sum of money on gym membership or expensive gym equipment that normally ends up collecting dust.

Is There An Alternative

Thankfully yes there is, we can start by taking a realistic look at how much food we are eating and what types of food we are consuming. Keeping a food diary for a week or two will expose our eating habits and then we have to be honest and strict with ourselves and start eating healthier foods and the right amount.

This does not mean we have to cut out what we like or deprive our self of food, just be sensible.

Then we need to look at our activity rate, again an activity diary will expose exactly how much physical activity we are getting on a daily basis. We then need to decide to stick to some kind of exercise routine, make it part of our lifstyle.

Resistance Is Best

Resistance training is one of the best exercises that we can do to get the body we want. This does not mean we have to become a bodybuilder and start pumping the weights, there is an easier way, without busting our butts. Resistance training builds muscle, which in turn eats fat, we get a toned body and our body fat ratio goes down, now that beach body starts to surface and we begin to love the mirror once again.
